The Christmas Jumper

A few years ago, Rachel made herself this jumper to celebrate Christmas. She finished the garment using 2 ½” Christmas fabric squares, with the front and back fully pieced together.

The side panels are made from Marimekko fabric, and Rachel decided the jumper needed large side pockets. She carefully cut the fabric for several squares to feature images, so the vest can support a lengthy game of I Spy… a snowman! A cat! Santa Claus! A watermelon slice!… and many more.
