Hey everyone! We are celebrating the season this year by sharing 12 of Rachel's favorite Christmas-themed creations. And now, to kick off the First Day of Christmas, here is Rachel’s simple, yet dramatic "Elegant Christmas Vest".

Rachel wanted a vest that gave the feel and festivity of Christmas without "hitting a person over the head with Christmas images".
She used embroidered wool fabric from Europe and her own ‘Picture This’ vest pattern.
It’s edged and trimmed with China silk and to compliment the red and black color scheme the buttons are alternating red and black extra large buttons. The lining is silk (Rachel had to have a little fun with polka-dots!) and the vest pairs well with simple black pants or a black skirt.
