Rachel has a lot of watermelons 🍉🍉 on the walls of her house. They come in all manner of paintings, sculpture and other representations.
First up is a simple wood block cut in a watermelon slice shape. This watermelon's rind features that bright green that Rachel loves. The slice hangs under an abstract tree block and two old keys.
Below is a painting of a fresh produce market. Underneath the colorful umbrellas, we can see a table full of watermelons, a few of them cut open so the buyers can examine the quality.
While Rachel loves traditional, as well as more abstract styles of art, she does have a place in her heart for more kitschy designs - especially if they feature watermelons or pigs (that's another blog series 😄 ). This one features a bunny who clearly has her heart set on taking a bite out of this painted slice of watermelon.
