Advanced Fast Piecing with Seminole Technique
Available spots
Course Description
Prerequisite: An in-person or online class on Seminole Technique. Have you already taken one of Rachel's Seminole Techniques classes and would like to learn more? The technique expands in this class to include more patterns and more colors. A lot more! Native Americans originally developed the Seminole technique and this class will focus on Seminole techniques, as opposed to Seminole piecing. Students should be familiar with creating units that are cut from long strips, sewn together and remade in a Seminole pattern. The strips can be very colorful and are suitable to be used in a small quilt, wall hanging, or as accent to brighten up a garment. Students will work at their own pace with a lot of input and examples from Rachel throughout the class. If you have questions about the level skill needed to complete the class, please email Rachel at hello@rdkc.com. A sewing machine is needed for the class. A full recording will be available for 3 months following each class.
